These cutting boards are made of 100% hardwood. Pieced together with exotic and domestic lumber, they offer a wide variety of color, hardness, shape, and scale. The boards are cut and rounded for comfort. Each individual component is secured with waterproof glue. There is a drip edge around the main body of the board and the large board has an additional trough at the handle side of the board. The boards are finished by submerging them for 15 minutes in food grade mineral oil.
